What happens inside
Filter. Two built-in filters of activated carbon and fibre carbon clean the water first. They last 6,000 to 12,000 litres, depending on your local water.
Electrolyse. Eight titanium plates with platinum coating, each 135 × 94 mm, split the water. A microcomputer keeps it steady with any water from 50 to 500 ppm TDS.
Separate. A Japan-made ion membrane lets only the hydrogen through, so the dissolved hydrogen in your alkaline water is as high as it can be.
Why hydrogen?
Molecular hydrogen is the smallest antioxidant known. Its small size lets it pass freely through cell membranes.
The SP-1059 is built to produce plenty of it: 500 to 1700 ppb in the alkaline water.
